A restaurant located in Clermont-Ferrand, which honors local cuisine, and offers home-made dishes.
Michel Izoulet and his wife have retired and sold the Bar d'O. At the head of the establishment, we now find Sylvain Gimel, who had already been working there for 4 years, and the trio from the neighboring restaurant, La Table au plafond: Yoann Cadez, Ugo Cadez, Pierre Zamengo. After some work, the kitchen is now open and the regulars are reassured. The institution that is the Bar d'O keeps its proposal: at noon, brasserie with home-made dishes and in the evening, place for aperitif boards. On the last Saturday of the month, a snack is offered, during which the local cuisine is honored: tripe, coq au vin, stuffed cabbage... to be shared without moderation!

Service et accueil parfait.
Pas de carte, menu très limité en choix, pas de planches à partager le midi..
J’ai prit une truite avec du riz, c’était fade et sans goût, même pas une petite sauce pour accompagner..
Bref, le soir c’est sûrement très bien mais le midi ça laisse clairement à désirer (malgré que nous soyons samedi). Surtout pour 80 euros à 4 avec un plat et une boisson chacun..

Le plat avec dessert du jour:€16. La carte pas trop de choix, mais bien assez !
Prix/qualité: très bien et le service professionnel et gentil !
