Behind the town hall, on a small square in Clermont-Ferrand, you can find this charming restaurant. The new chef of the Chardonnay, Maxence Lariviere, is the former second chef of the house, which has kept its Michelin Bib Gourmand. The restaurant is still a must in the bistronomy of Clermont-Ferrand, with a very good quality-price ratio. The short menu highlights seasonal products. The dishes that arrive on the table are beautifully presented and seduce the eyes before conquering the palate and warming the heart.

Par quoi commencer… une seule bouteille de rouge en dessous de 39€, un menu à 36€ avec une maigre portion pour le plat contenant de la volaille assez basique et des sourires très, très, très, très difficiles à recevoir de la part des serveurs.
Mis à part ça, la terrasse est formidable et le gérant du restaurant demeure fort agréable.

Un petit restaurant qui se trouve très proche de la cathédrale. Cadre sympathique, personnel très accueillant, nourriture très bonne. Un excellent moment passé, avec apéritif pris sur une agréable terrasse et repas en salle
