Behind the town hall, on a small square in Clermont-Ferrand, you can find this charming restaurant. The new chef of the Chardonnay, Maxence Lariviere, is the former second chef of the house, which has kept its Michelin Bib Gourmand. The restaurant is still a must in the bistronomy of Clermont-Ferrand, with a very good quality-price ratio. The short menu highlights seasonal products. The dishes that arrive on the table are beautifully presented and seduce the eyes before conquering the palate and warming the heart.

Excellent restaurant, plats délicieux servis dans une excellente ambiance, à un prix correct... Un excellent menu à 22 € et un très bon choix de vins .

Tellement séduite..... Les mets fins et inventifs. Après deux exquises mises en bouche butternut-joue de boeuf, un foie gras poêlé qui tient toutes ses promesses. Puis, des Saint-Jacques snackées, relevées avec délicatesse d'une vinaigrette d'huîtres si originale. Des fromages renversants de saveurs. Et, enfin, le summum d'un gourmand chocolat puissant et subtil. Ma table favorite sur la place de Clermont !
