Fresh food cuisine in one of the best Japanese restaurants in Clermont-Ferrand.
A tiny room in pop-green hues, fashion photos of Japanese women: no doubt about it, you're at Santooka. This is one of the city's two historic Japanese addresses. This is one of the city's two historic Japanese addresses. Other specialties include tonkatsu, katsudon and dorayaki, a pancake with red bean paste. The freshness and quality of the dishes won us over. The hearty portions and pleasant service make this a place not to be missed. The restaurant offers home delivery.

I came this town for the film festival, besides nice movies, this Japanese restaurant is the most exciting find during my journey.And I came here for four times, you can see how much I love it!
In a small Japenese style room, I got warm service and tasted the BEST sushi! The flavors of ingredients matched super well with creativity! I can say the chef must have put some thoughts into it, not just wraping the fish in the rice and seaweed like most other restaurants. And the salmon was fresh, tasted like those I had in Norway. For the above I think the price is reasonable.
I also recommend the fried porkchop meal and fried chicken meal! The pork/chicken was fried just right with soft eggs and refreshing salad. Me and my friends can't stop eating that.
This restaurant will be my reason for coming here next time. DO NOT miss it!(ps: I suggest you make a reservation)

Très déçu de ce restaurant de sushi que nous connaissions il y a quelques années qui avait une vraie âme et qui s'est transformé en un entrepôt de livraison avec le va et vient associé. Les sushis restent très bon mais nous n'avons pas passé un bon moment.

Commande effectuée sur Uber-Eat, moi et mon copain avons pris des Tonkatsu. Commande en cours de préparation pendant 1h. Heureusement que le livreur a LUI été efficace. Après 1h10 d’attente, la commande est réceptionnée (heureusement pour nous, ce n’est pas froid). Le porc n’est pas bon, caoutchouteux, bref pas bon. Ou est le curry de la commande ? 38€ de payé (2 Tonkatsu et Gyozas (qui heureusement sont eux bons)). Je ne recommande pas du tout, nous sommes très déçus.
