In the center and surrounding areas there are parking meters with different rates for different zones. It is possible to pay via the PrestoPark application. Resident and business season tickets allow you to park at a lower cost. The city has long-term parking lots outside the city, park-and-ride lots (Dunant, les Pistes) and free lots near the tramway (Croix de Neyrat, Margeride, la Pardieu). Still struggling to find change to activate the parking meter? Since late 2017, the city of Clermont has been equipped with an alternative with the PrestoPark mobile app. As for Chamalières, Issoire and Riom, its sister app Whoosh is operating. These two tools enable you to pay for your parking without using a parking meter. After an initial registration, all you have to do is start the application once you've parked. Rates remain the same, and payment is adjusted to the actual parking time.
