The oldest bodega in the Cafayate region, with a wine museum and restaurant, making it a popular tourist attraction
This bodega bases its advertising on its seniority, it is indeed the oldest in the region, it is now more than 130 years old. It also houses a wine museum that is worth a quick look. The visit is very touristy and the quality of the wine less exhilarating (here you will find many varieties, malbec is better than torrontés). It is interesting however to see people working the old-fashioned way. The production is semi-artisanal. It is the restaurant that is especially worth it, coming to dine here is a great experience.
