RESERVA NATURAL SAN ANTONIO

The small nature reserve contains a rich patch of Paraná rainforest. It includes a forest of Paraná pines, a plant formation that is not represented in any other national protected area and of which 1,000 hectares (less than 1% of the original area) remain today. The araucarias are accompanied by trees such as the black laurel, among which are hidden huge tree ferns and numerous orchids and bromeliads.
