Prices are fixed and identical for all taxis. Although security is better on the Argentinean side of the border, taxis are still a good option here. You can go by taxi to the Argentine side of the falls if you are in a hotel in Puerto Iguazu. It is worth taking a taxi for long distances (up to the cataracts) from a group of 4 people, otherwise it is better to go through the agencies of the hotels that offer vans at competitive prices. In the city, in Puerto Iguazu, taxis are a good option.
