A few dozen houses form the small village of Colonia Carlos Pellegrini, 120 km from the town of Mercedes, on the shores of Lake Ibera. Only one dirt road, in some places in very bad condition, allows access from Mercedes. The landscape is monotonous. If you have your own vehicle, you should bring gas for the round trip: there are no petrol stations on the way or in the village itself. It is better to avoid the rainy season to get there. Animals can be seen all year round, but for the spectacle of nature in bloom, the month of September is the most recommended.Tourist Office at the corner of Calle Mbiguá and Ruta 40.
