Bouddha géant perdu à l'intérieur des terres. Un des plus haut sinon de plus haut du Sri Lanka. De construction récente, belle vue du haut sur les rizières environnantes à laquelle on accède par un dédale de couloirs souterrains totalement recouvert de peintures un peu défraichies retraçant l'histoire de Bouddha.
A faire seulement si vous êtes dans les environs sans plus malgré un prix d'entrée modique sauf en période de pélérinage.
