LAKSALA

Laksala is the only state-licensed gift and souvenir retailer. It has several stores throughout the island. This shop along the ramparts of the Fort offers an eclectic mix of products, from tea and spice selections to colorful batiks, numerous arts and crafts and a large collection of gems and jewelry, all stamped "All in Sri Lanka." The prices, although affordable, are adapted to the generally high standard of living of tourists visiting the island.
