A very pleasant gîte in the heart of the Roche-Plate islet. The dormitories are a little cramped, but the welcome is warm and the food tasty. The breakfast is copious. There are two six-person dormitories and one double room. Table soccer is available outside to keep you busy at the end of the day. The most relaxing thing here is contemplation, with a superb view of the ramparts surrounding the cirque. At sunrise, the light gradually bathes the mountains. A magical moment. The Mahafaty-Be is a good address in Mafate.

Un vrai bijou au cœur de Mafate !
Le repas était délicieux, préparé avec soin et plein de saveurs locales un vrai régal !
John, le propriétaire, nous a accueillis avec une générosité et une bienveillance rares. On sent qu’il aime partager son coin de paradis.
Dès l’arrivée, on est charmé par son portail magnifiquement fleuri et l’entretien impeccable du lieu.
Et que dire de la vue… absolument époustouflante ! C’est un endroit paisible, authentique, où l’on se sent tout de suite bien.
