Gîte with a restaurant located near the rampart of the Salazes in Marla.

Two huts with dormitories: two of 12 places and one of 8 (one of which is rather basic, consisting of a huge wooden bed base and decorated with large warm duvets). On reservation, the excellent restaurant is located 400 m away, in Mme Giroday's hut, at the foot of the Salazes rampart. The magic happens when you walk under the starry sky, guided by the enticing smell of cooking over a wood fire. A flashlight will be welcome for the return journey. Spending a night in the authentic Giroday gîte means discovering another face of Mafate.

Une gardienne de gite très discrète, mais une excellente cuisinière. Nous nous sommes régalé. D'une douceur et d'une gentillesse incroyable, rien que d'en parler 9a donne envie d'y retourner!! Les dortoirs sont propres et confortable, rien à dire...
