Close to the islet of Marla, the Maison Laclos gîte has become a classic in Mafate, conducive to relaxation and isolation, with its small chalets scattered in a vast, well-kept meadow and its breathtaking view of the circus. The bungalows are furnished and each has a terrace and a living room. Bedding is comfortable. The cottage has five double rooms and a dormitory for four people. You can also dine on site and discover many specialties of the traditional Creole cuisine.

Chambre sympa. Nous partageons la salle de bains avec un autre couple. Les repas sont très très bons. Bravo au cuisinier.

Un endroit magnifique, paisible avec un parfum de bonheur en plein milieu des chemins de randonnée du cirque de Mafate. Un très bon accueil et un repas excellent.

Gîte Laclos, Marla: Propre, endroit sympa mais accueil moyen.
Prix dîner 22eur ! Bon mais prix exorbitant. Verre de vin rempli à moitié pour 3eur. Petit dej à 8eur pour une brioche maison, confiture industrielle ainsi que le jus. Pas de prise de courant. Notre conseil y aller pour dormir et emporter le repas.

Gite très confortable et très propre. Bonne cuisine quoique en quantité insuffisante. Nous déplorons la froideur de l’accueil qui ne reflète pas du tout la Réunion. Table d'hôte impersonnelle et aucune pièce commune permettant au randonneur de se retrouver. Chacun reste dans sa chambre jusqu'à l'heur du repas.

A good address, clean and quiet if you want to be slightly further away (a 20 minute walk from Marla).
Good dinner, however very long service (past more than 2 hours to table, children did not book more.)
