This tropical ethno-botanical garden of 2.5 ha reconciles beauty, diversity and pedagogy. It was directed by Philippe Kaufmant, a passionate botanical engineer from Lorraine, who died in 1992, one year after the realization of his lifelong dream: an extraordinary garden. In addition to the 700 varieties of plant species (including plants endemic to Reunion Island), you may be lucky enough to observe cardinals, chameleons, black water hens with red beaks, serins and butterflies. There are also workshops and one-off events to be discovered on the website.

Bien situé à l'entrée de la ville c'est un endroit assez magique .Ne pas hésiter pour 2 € de plus à faire la visite guidée .chaque arbre a ses secrets chaque plante est expliqué en détail .Un vrai bonheur ne pas hésiter

Endroit loué pour une soirée privée qui fut épique. L'obscurité magnifiant les plantes de ce beau jardin. Entrée un peu chère ceci-dit mais bon on était pas en journée ;)

Un jardin bien entretenu avec de magnifiques palmiers. Ce jardin situé à Saint Gilles porte bien son nom. On peut y voir aussi des endormis.
