Just a stone's throw from the castle, this hostel is undoubtedly one of the best in Celje. The restaurant room is a real point of view on the city and the castle. The welcome is the warmest. The map is well provided. The cuisine is traditional but of very good quality. You will enjoy a plate of cold meats accompanied by štrukljis or the Viennese escalope. Generally speaking, beautiful dishes decorated with talent and colourful seasonal vegetables. It is regrettable that the dessert menu is much less sophisticated.

The restaurant is located in a manor house in the baroque park of Novo Celje. A complete culinary experience is provided by a young and talented team who use local ingredients to invent exquisite dishes with unique flavours that can match their beautiful wine list. Through a culinary experience called River food, guests blend into the local environment and become familiar with the specificities of local cuisine and the history of the valley, and then create their own menu in collaboration with the chefs.

Clearly an address for "carnivores": we're here in a tavern specializing in extravagant grills and burgers, even if a few fish and vegetarian dishes are on offer. The menu is so extensive that it's hard to choose, but the burger-style black angus steak slices will inspire even the most indecisive, and we applaud the initiative of including photos of the dishes to help us decide. Of course, the beverage selection is just as wide, enough to feast like the old days.

One of the locals' favorite addresses for its cosy, friendly atmosphere and diverse culinary offerings. Fans of breakfast or late brunch will find what they're looking for here, with eggs Florentine, Benedict, wraps, club sandwiches... accompanied by granola bowls, waffles and brioche. Hungry for lunch or something to toast the evening? No problem, with a plethora of finger foods on the menu, or for the hungrier, tasty burgers, home fries, butcher's cuts and vegetarian poke bowls.
