GARE FERROVIAIRE ET GARE ROUTIÈRE

Trains every half hour to Ljubljana and every hour to Maribor. There are also daily connections for Koper, Murska Sobota, Velenje and Ptuj. The bus station, located north of the city centre, also offers frequent connections to Šempeter, Šentjur, Škofja Vas, Ljubljana, all the villages in the upper Savinja Valley and Maribor. In general, the train is most often the best option because of its affordability.
