FORMA VIVA SCULPTURE PARK

In Slovenia, a forma viva, from the Latin "living form", is an open-air sculpture gallery. In this park, you can walk among contemporary works commissioned from artists all over the world. This international symposium was founded in 1961, and has grown ever since. It has expanded to other sites, creating new categories. Here, the sculptors work in stone, in Kostanjevica na Krki in wood, in Ravne na Koroškem in steel and in Maribor in concrete.
