TONINA HIŠA

In the Istrian countryside overlooking the Portorož marina, this traditional house is typical of those found in the region in the ^19th century. A small ethnographic exhibition provides interesting insights into the daily lives of the peasant families who lived here. The upstairs private section houses the sleeping quarters and living area. On the first floor, there's a sort of store and warehouse for commercial activities: oil mill, sale of oil, salt and wine.
