A high quality cultural scene with a cinema that gives pride of place to European films in their original version with subtitles, jazz, classical or medieval music festivals, exhibitions that showcase the local and international artistic scene, a theatre that hosts classical or contemporary plays. In total, no less than 350 events are organised each year with some 50,000 spectators in attendance. The International Saxophone Festival, which takes place at the beginning of July, is particularly appreciated.
