He has restructured part of the building: relocation of the main entrance, use of innovative materials, etc. It is one of the last major works of this famous architect before his death. HOLY SPIRIT CHURCH
Read moreThe church was built in 1916 by soldiers of the Austro-Hungarian army in memory of the dead in action on the surrounding peaks. Even then, it served as a spiritual refuge for them. The interior is decorated in the style of the Viennese Secession. On the walls are the names of the 2,808 soldiers who fell at the front. A place full of emotion where meditation is essential. It occupies a central place in the material and moral reconstruction of places and people. It was recently awarded the European Heritage Label in 2018.
