Both rooms and dormitories are clean and comfortable. There's also a small swimming pool and a free shuttle to the Island City Mall. Staying at this small hotel also means doing a good deed, as the establishment is run by the International Deaf Education Association: all proceeds go towards the education of deaf children in Bohol, and the association also provides work for hearing-impaired adults, as there are around twenty of them on the staff, who are also adorable.

The hotel is in the heart of the city. It's good value for money. There is a swimming pool, a discotheque, a sauna, a Jacuzzi, a massage lounge and a renowned restaurant.

The pension has some rooms with a view of the harbour. The rates are mild.

A little off the beaten track, this is one of Tagbilaran's most recent and chic hotels. This large, sleek white contemporary building overlooking the sea sets the tone. This boutique hotel offers comfortable, high quality accommodation, brightly lit thanks to the large bay windows offering superb sea views. You can also enjoy the view from the pool and terrace. It's just a shame that the rooms aren't better soundproofed, and that staff and service aren't always up to the high standards we've come to expect.

The island of Cabilao can be reached in 2 hours from Tagbilaran. A tiny island, Cabilao is home to 5,000 inhabitants who are unaccustomed to tourists and live very simply, especially after their island was hit by Typhoon Odette in 2021. This superb resort is ideal for divers wishing to explore the depths of the marine sanctuary that surrounds the island. The rooms are beautiful, the pool pleasant and the staff attentive. A paradise of tranquility, cut off from the world.

Marqis Sunrise Sunset Resort & Spa offers magnificent cottages set in the Cambanac hills, above the village of Baclayon. The traditional atmosphere of the cottages makes for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and for stress detox, it's the perfect place! If you're a nature lover, this is the resort for you. The restaurant serves excellent food and the infinity pools with sea views are superb.

The Bohol Tropics Resort offers rooms with decent levels of comfort but no particular charm, and the whole complex is a little faded. However, each room has its own small terrace, and the resort has several swimming pools, tennis courts, a souvenir store, massage services and an excellent Chinese restaurant. The usual clientele is local and business. Good value for money and a good address for a transitional night's stay, as it's a fifteen-minute walk from the port.
