Agong is located 18 km from Bulalacao and has about 50 Hanuno families. They make soft bamboo baskets decorated with geometric designs, which are among the most beautiful in the Philippines. Ask for a guide at the town hall or the convent in Bulalacao. A member of the tribe, who has gone shopping in town, can accompany you. Volunteers are working hard to preserve the customs of the tribe while making life easier for them. The education of the children is one of the priorities and a school has been created in Agong.
