Looking for a gourmet, local break? Baptiste Deveaud welcomes you to his guinguette. The simple menu offers home-cooked food: French fries, perfectly cooked and seasoned chicken thighs, cookies... Local produce is king here. These include the Saint-Priest bakery, Caves Deboudard in Charensat, beer from the Valhalla brewery... the menu showcases the best of the Combrailles region. Nous avons été très mal accueilli, on a demandé à être dehors, on nous a dit non c’est pas réservé des personnes sont arrivées derrière nous n’avait pas réservé on leur a donné le monopole d’aller dehors, je trouve ça quand même un peu décevant la cuisine le gratin de saumon était brûlé la côte de bœuf trop cuite. Franchement je ne recommande pas, on demande de l’eau pour le chien c’est tout juste si on le met pas à la cave. Franchement, je vois pas ce que Jean a une petite Opel d’eau à côté de notre table.
