RICE HOMESTAY BANAUE

Hotel
5/5
1 review

Opened in early 2016 below the valley, this guesthouse is adjacent to another, Bogah Lodge Homestay, both owned by the same owners. They are reputed (with good reason!) to offer the best rooms in Banaue. There are four rooms in all, authentic and warm: prefer the ones upstairs because the ones downstairs overlook the restaurant terrace. The place is peaceful, the food is very good and there is no extra charge for a mattress and additional person in the rooms.

UYAMI'S GREENVIEW LODGE & RESTAURANT

Hotel

The staff is very friendly and the restaurant offers a very nice view on the rice fields and the river. You can organize your treks here, guides work in the guesthouse, and buy handicrafts. The rooms, all in wood, are simple but charming, in the spirit of Banaue. The friendly restaurant serves very good food. It is a central and popular address for sleeping, eating or organizing an outing.

KOREEN GUESTHOUSE

Bed and breakfast
4/5
1 review

Opened in 2016, this is the closest address to the bus terminal (ideal when arriving by night bus at 5am) and close to stores and restaurants. The rooms, with wooden furniture and rustic decoration, are comfortable, they benefit from a private bathroom, wifi and electrical outlets (almost a luxury in Banaue). The owners will be happy to help you organize your excursions, so be sure to let them know in advance as they slip out of the reception area from time to time. A very good price.

BANAUE HOTEL & YOUTH HOSTEL

Hotel €€
3.5/5

The hotel Concrete is not an endorsement (it is a government hotel) and the atmosphere is sometimes a bit ugly, but it offers the best level of comfort of Banaue. Prefer deluxe rooms, all wood panelling and charming. You can enjoy the swimming pool, the restaurant (somewhat any other) and cultural demonstrations in the evening (dances and folk music, interpreted by the Ifugaos).

SANAFE LODGE & BISTRO

Hotel
3.4/5

The hotel is especially suitable for its restaurant, which has a beautiful view (no thousands of electric cables in front of you) on the rice fields and offers honest (but uneven) cuisine. The rooms are rather correct, especially the most recent with view of the rice fields. Mountain chalet atmosphere.

Basic hotel with common health, for the most broke. You will still enjoy the small table in the rooms and the power outlet to recharge your camera or phone!

BOGAH LODGE (HOMESTAY)

Lodge

Between the breathtaking view of the rice fields and the hospitality of Denwil, Joel and their family, Bogah Lodge feels like a little paradise. Bogah means "rice" in Ifugao. The food is very good, the hosts also act as guides (of great quality!) to organize your days. Here, no fuss, basic and warm rooms, a big family atmosphere, it is easy to discuss with other travelers on the large terrace. A small stream runs underneath, very soothing. Our favorite address in Banaue.

HIWANG NATIVE HOUSE INN & VIEWDECK

Lodge €€

If you want to experience sleeping in a native house, the traditional habitat of the Ifugao villages, this is the place for you! There are several huts, each with its own bathroom and a breathtaking view. The owners are very helpful and can organize all your excursions in the surrounding rice fields. A breakfast is served in the morning, and the cherry on the cake: it is possible to ask to light a fire in front of your hut.

NATIVE VILLAGE INN

Lodge €€

This very original establishment overlooks the rice fields of Hapao, a few kilometers from Banaue and offers breathtaking views. The huts are very simple but warm and the common bathrooms are well kept and clean. There is a good international atmosphere. Excellent welcome from the owners, Graham and Monina, appreciated. At the restaurant, you can enjoy a continental breakfast in the morning and a very good cuisine the rest of the day. A good address, a little away from Banaue for even more change of scenery.
