SHUDEN UUL

This amazing salt mountain reaches 300 meters high, and it is estimated that it contains a reserve of more than 50 million tons of salt. It would be able to satisfy the salt needs of all Asia for several years. The salt mines are open to visitors. Put in exploitation since 1974, they were nevertheless used for more than 300 years by the locals, who know the existence of it since generations. They are the oldest in Mongolia, and they contain about 73 million tons of salt.
