This mountain is the only one that rises for 30 km around. It shelters about fifty tombs of the VIIth and VIIIth centuries, discovered in 1972 by workmen. These tombs are dated to the Bronze and Iron Ages and contained 122 human skeletons, as well as numerous objects, such as horse riding equipment and bronze mirrors wrapped in felt or cloth. The area also has some stelae covered with inscriptions in Turkish and Uyghur. From the top, a beautiful view of the city can be seen.
