TOLGOI JAVKHLANT

This hill, located near the river and the main street of Uliastai, offers a beautiful view of the city. Once at the top, you will be able to observe a small pavilion, nine Buddhist stupas and statues representing different animals of the local fauna: an elk, an ibex and an argali. In the distance, if you look in the northeast direction and have a good view, you can detect the remains of the former Manchu capital. It is possible to go there on foot, even if the ruins are relatively uninteresting.
