"The medical biology laboratories of the Puy-de-Dôme, Allier and Cher regions have understood this adage well. By joining forces, they have formed Gen-Bio, a multi-site laboratory. Today, it has 35 laboratories, including 9 clinical sites and 1 specialized technical platform. In addition to medical biology work (thousands of files processed per day and 90% of results given the same day), Gen-Bo's biologists specialize in microbiology, genetics and medical assistance for reproduction. Since 2018, the Regional Health Agency has given authorizations to perform pre- and post-natal molecular genetic examinations.
