The hotel was reopened in 2003 by the Libyan tourist company Winzrik. But it was built by the Italians on a plan by architect Di Fausto. With the hotel de Yefren, it was a luxury establishment. It is perched on the heights at the entrance to the city from Tripoli and offers a breathtaking view of the plain and on the stump and the old town left: From the terrace of the café, the panorama is magnificent (not to be missed even when you are not a guest of the hotel).
