MUSEU DA BORRACHA

Acre State Historical Museum. Fine exhibits on the state's natives, and on the rubber boom. The collection provides an understanding of the state's history, from the discovery of rubber, through the Acre Revolution and the decline of rubber cultivation. On display are documents on immigration control during the rubber cycle, army uniforms and weaponry used during the Acre revolution, and a replica of a "seringueiro" house, complete with original utensils and accessories.
