LARGO DE SÃO SEBASTIÃO

Manaus is a vast metropolis, isolated in the Amazonian confines. Its centre was partly built at the end of the 19th century. Named after the church that borders it, this public square is one of the beating hearts of Manaus. In its center is the Teatro Amazonas and all around it are hotels, restaurants, bar terraces, ice cream vendors, shops and craft galleries. It is the meeting place for young and old, travelers and locals. Concerts are frequently held in the square.
