Located 30 kilometers from the center of Alter do Chão, the Pousada do Tapajos is a pretty, well-kept little pousada with double, family and dormitory rooms. The welcome is always warm. The garden has a shaded terrace with hammocks for guests' use, as does the kitchen. You're in almost direct contact with nature. Refreshment couldn't be easier. The Pousada do Tapajos is just a few metres from Cajueiro beach and close to the village square.
