BOSQUE RODRIGUES ALVES
Ecological reserve ideal for observing small animals in the wild, with orchid garden and lake
This venerable park, created during the city's heyday, is over 135 years old. Since 2002, the garden has been converted into a botanical garden. It's a 16-hectare Amazonian ecological reserve in the heart of the city. Inspired by the Bois de Boulogne, the idea was to bring nature back into the city. There's an orchid garden and a lake where turtles roam. Small animals can be seen roaming free. You can take a walk in close contact with nature. From the center, take a bus marked Aeroclub.
