EXCURSION FUROS E IGARAPÉS

To visit the surrounding region and take your first leap into the Amazon. The organized walk along the canals(igarapés) and creeks provides a change of atmosphere, taking us away from the buildings and noise of the city. We discover a string of more or less populated islands, the ribeirinha population, who live on the water's edge and make their living from the fruit trade and handicrafts, and the children on the lookout for boats.
