The Casa do Artesão, located in the town's former prison, has now been converted into a stall housing some fifty local craftsmen working with wood, leather, ceramics, clay pottery, crochet, seeds, paints and fish leather, among other materials. In addition to crafts, you can learn a little about the history of the region. The building housed Corumbá's public prison for several years, from 1905 to 1970. Unfortunately, the site is in a very poor state of repair. Craftsmen have unsanitary workshops.
