Park with a private natural heritage reserve for hiking in the sulphur Cerrado
Santuario de Vagafogo is a 46-hectare park in the Cerrado. The Cerrado is an endangered biome with an extremely rich biodiversity, often endemic. The owners, madly in love with local nature, have created an RPPN (private natural heritage reserve) to introduce tourists to this biodiversity, often abused by the region's intensive soy and planalto farming. Arvorism, abseiling, hiking and other activities are available.
