Every Brazilian city worthy of the name has a central market, more or less modern, more or less traditional... Goiânia is no exception to the rule. The Mercado Municipal is rather well organized. With its 6,000 square meters and more than 100 stalls, it concentrates a part of the history, quite recent, of this city. It is one of the most frequented and popular places in Goiânia.
