Spectacular tortured rock, with belvedere in the middle of the path, one of the most visited spots in Chapada dos Veadeiros
A must see of the Chapada! It is not by chance that its name means "valley of the moon", the rock formations and the greyish colour of the granite really remind us of lunar landscapes. The place was created by the flow of the São Miguel River which has been eroding the stone for millions of years. This "tortured" rock is particularly spectacular. It is one of the most visited places in the Chapada dos Veadeiros. In the middle of the path, there is a viewpoint that overlooks the valley with a beautiful mountain range

Bain glacé dans un paysage magique
Rien de tel après les bonnes randos du parque national que la vale da lua pour aller lézarder sur les roches: accès par une petite balade facile de moins de 10 minutes, paysage magique. Il y a 2 principaux points d'eau qui selon l'horaire peuvent être plus ou moins fréquentés, mais on peut choisir de s'installer plus loin et ce sera tout aussi beau. Attention eau vraiment gelée!!
