Spectacular tortured rock, with belvedere in the middle of the path, one of the most visited spots in Chapada dos Veadeiros

A must-see spot in Chapada dos Veadeiros! Its name means "Valley of the Moon". The rock formations and the grayish color of the granite are reminiscent of lunar landscapes. The area was created by the flow of the São Miguel River, which has been eroding the stone for millions of years. The rock is particularly spectacular and is one of the most visited places in Chapada dos Veadeiros. In the middle of the path, a lookout overlooks the valley with a beautiful mountain range.

Bain glacé dans un paysage magique
Rien de tel après les bonnes randos du parque national que la vale da lua pour aller lézarder sur les roches: accès par une petite balade facile de moins de 10 minutes, paysage magique. Il y a 2 principaux points d'eau qui selon l'horaire peuvent être plus ou moins fréquentés, mais on peut choisir de s'installer plus loin et ce sera tout aussi beau. Attention eau vraiment gelée!!
