ABENDBROTHAUS

Despite its name, the Abenbrothaus does not only serve German dishes. Very good regional cuisine is served in a charming little colonial house 30 kilometres from Blumenau. On the menu: a unique dish to delight the palate of the guests, the stuffed marreco. This free-range duck is baked for two and a half hours on a banana leaf. To accompany the meal: sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and apples, rice and manioc, among others. The recipes are those of the family of the bosses and the service is at will.
