Mar & sol is a restaurant now established as a benchmark on the island. It is reached on foot from the das conchas lighthouse. The place is simple and pleasant. The menu is quite varied, but the main attraction is the fish specialties, especially the moquecas, and the seafood, especially the casquinha de siri. The moqueca de camarao, as good as in Bahia, is more than enough for two guests.
