This is the city's main park. Here, Curitibense residents play futebol, pedal-boat on the lake or share a family picnic... The more athletic ones let off steam on the walkways. At weekends, many locals spend the whole day under the trees in the middle of this immense park. As in Pampulha, friendly capybaras stroll around the lake. Drinks and meals are served on terraces overlooking the vast lake.
