A straight, quiet beach with calm seas and strong winds, and warm waters that attract many kitesurfers

The municipality has the largest area of beaches in Piauí. The beach is straight, quiet, with cafes in the water. Family friendly and not very crowded. The warm waters of Luis Correia attract many kitesurfers; it is the ideal setting for the practice of this sport, especially for those who are beginners, calm sea and strong wind; any visitor can take a lesson. On the east coast of Luís Correia is the famous Macapá beach, pools are formed at low tide and during the boat trips you can see seahorses.
