PRAIA DO FUTURO

This is the big beach in Fortaleza where you can swim. You will be obliged to sit near one of the barracas (and thus consume) and answer to the street vendors.
Crocobeach is the most famous barraca, with a very good infrastructure. Do not leave your belongings unattended. Avoid walking around with valuables, as there are regular snatchings.

To get there: take the Caça e Pesca bus from the Beira Mar and ask for the Croco Beach stop. From the stop you will see a sign indicating the beach. Count R$ 3.
