On the corner of Praça do Carmo and São Pedro, the Casbah Mourisco bar and pub is located on the first floor of a large Moorish-style house in Olinda. In recent years, it has become a meeting point for tourists and trendy locals alike. In the large and very pleasant "Casbah" courtyard, you can sample traditional dishes for lunch, in buffet form. Throughout the day and well into the night, sweet and savory snacks (petiscos) and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are served. A fine address.
