PRAIA MUCUGÊ

The praia de Mucugê is the main beach of the village of Arraial d'ajuda. Going down the eponymous street, you reach the beach, which is the closest to the centre. Lined with a row of barracas where you can find shrimps, beer and music galore, it is crowded in summer, it is almost difficult to spread your towel completely. Protected by the reefs off the coast, it is quiet and popular with families. At low tide, the reefs on the beach form natural pools. Cabana Zafferano offers a pleasant setting.
