In Santo Antônio, in Salvador's pleasant, trendy bohemian district, the Pousada Esmeralda is a haven of peace for its guests. Both close to everything and far from the noise, this emerald-fronted pousada boasts 7 comfortable, pleasant rooms, decorated specifically according to a theme. Each room has its own private bathroom. The owner, Nathalie, offers a warm welcome in French. She does her utmost to make your stay in the pousada and in Salvador as pleasant as possible. Excellent breakfast.

A l´arrivée j´ai pu être accueillie á l´aeroport par Marco , il m´a fait faire un tour du quartier bohéme de Santo Antonio en m´expliquant les lieux incontournables. Et c´est avec un jus frais que j´ai pris connaissance de mon nouveau lieu , une maison trés accueillante qui dés les premiers instants vous fait vous sentir chez des amis. Ma chambre était trés calme avec vue sur le jardin ( Tahiti) et je pouvais faire ma petite cuisine dans une kitchinette commune, passant une semaine á Salvador Nathalie m´a donné toutes les infos possible et souvent même accompagnée pour la découverte du marché Sao Joaquim par ex, Connaissant des artistes musiciens j´ai pu même jouer un morceau sur scene avec eux le samedi du JamnoMAM ,,,mémorable! Je les remercie vraiment tous les 2 car mon séjour a été vraiment inoubliable. Je vous ai m~eme pas parlé du petit déjeuner pain et confitures fait maison, tous les jours des spécialités de Bahia differentes , un régal.

Nathalie et Marco sont des hôtes exceptionnels! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Salvador de Bahia en grande partie grâce à l'accueil et aux conseils de nos hôtes. Petit déjeuner délicieux préparé avec soin par Nathalie uniquement avec des produits locaux et suivants les goûts de chacun. Par ailleurs notre chambre (chambre indienne) était très confortable et décorée avec goût. Le ménage est fait tous les matins.

Marco and Nathalie, french-italian couple, welcomed us including friends, indicating the best places to us and making us discover places off the beaten track.

The rooms are colourful and tastefully decorated. We also benefited from the therapeutic advice Marco, which is a naturopath. A full of surprises, gold address.
