This castle overlooking the town of Arlanc allows a discovery around the engraving, the architecture, the history of France.
Listed as a Monument Historique, the château overlooks the commune of Arlanc. This Italian-style building was constructed in the 18th century on the foundations of a fort dating from 1300. Philippe Hugot presents part of his print collection here, combining a visit to the château with a discovery of printmaking, architecture, French history and gardens. The Galerie des Perspectives, the only one of its kind in France, houses a fascinating collection of optical views, which can be admired through a zograscope, an unusual device. The gardens are also open to the curious.
