Comfortable, clean hotel, with a slightly austere decor, in the center of town, with a slightly tropical Harry Potter atmosphere
Hotel Providência is a pretty blue-and-white establishment in a venerable 163-year-old mansion. The decor is inevitably a little austere, as it is a former seminary of the Order of St. Vincent. But it's still comfortable and clean. A very warm welcome. Internet access, garage, swimming pool and garden. Large corridors, a cloister, a slightly tropical Harry Potter atmosphere. The restaurant serves a very good feijoada on Saturdays. A good address, particularly recommended for groups. Entertainment available. The hotel is centrally located.
