The Rainha dos Anjos pousada opened its doors a few years ago and offers simple, clean rooms with a rather rustic decor. The room for couples is quite cosy. Some have mountain views. The entrance through the garage is rather austere, but the service is family-oriented and of high quality. A small sauna is available for travelers. The location is very quiet and just a few hundred meters from Mariana town hall. The pousada is 800 meters from Mariana Cathedral and the Archdiocesan Museum.
